Hong Kong - SFC Issues Circular on Best Execution

On 30th January 2018, the Securities and Futures Commission (“SFC”) published a circular to Licensed Corporations (“LCs”) on best execution. The circular and accompanying “Report on the Thematic Review of Best Execution” set out guidance on the standards of conduct and internal controls which the SFC expects of LCs in delivering best execution.
